There has been a fire in Santa Cruz for the past few days, and even though its about 40 miles north of where I am, the smoke has made its way down the coast.

Sacramento's Best Kept Secret.

Meet Method Echo, hailing from sunny summer Sacramento, California. This quintent of musicians does not disappoint. They have an amazing amount of talent, whether its playing their own catchy guitar and keyboard driven songs (check out my personal favorites, "Wipe Your Tears", "Catch My Breath", and "Burn Me Up") or busting out covers like they own them (Kanye West's "Good Life" and Black Eyed Peas' "Boom Boom Pow" have never sounded so good!) Your feet won't stop tapping, your head will be bouncing, your face will have a smile, and those songs will be stuck in your head for DAYS on end.

It won't be long until someone catches on to their talent. I have so much love and faith in this band, I know I am lucky to discover them now before the whole world wants a taste. They've made a dent in my heart of music; they currently are my #1 "most played" song on itunes! (Don't ask how many plays thats consists of. Its almost ridiculous.)
